  • Pinely is a privately owned and funded algorithmic trading firm. As such, it relies on the ideas, technology and expertise developed by its people. This strong sense of ownership and independence is deeply embedded in the company’s culture and formed an important starting point for the design of its new workplace.

As a young and fast-growing company, Pinely had previously operated from fully serviced office spaces. This project therefore presented a unique opportunity to translate its identity into a physical environment for the first time.

Located in the Pulse building, adjacent to the A10, the office spans 3,000 square metres. The design concept emerged from the company’s name. Pinely evokes the feeling of being surrounded by nature. The ambition was to create a serene workplace where acoustic comfort plays a central role, supporting different ways of working, meeting and connecting.

Employees can come together in the restaurant, challenge each other in the gaming area or retreat to dedicated focus stations.

Developed in line with the building’s BREEAM and WELL certification requirements, the result is a peaceful and welcoming office space that still offers moments of surprise.
