AZ Architects recently recognized that a workspace transformation is defined not only by its new aesthetic, but by how effectively the environment enables people to connect, collaborate, and thrive together.
SHINWA (親和)—the office renovation project for Suntory PepsiCo Vietnam Beverage (SPVB)—was conceived to cultivate a modern, agile, and human-centric workplace. Drawing inspiration from the essence of “Shinwa,” representing connection and harmony, the project centers around the concept of a seamless “flow” bridging people, space, and nature.
Partnering with SPVB on this journey, AZ Architects translated the organization’s strategic vision into tailored spatial solutions—creating an open, cohesive, and collaborative workplace for all teams.
Fluid Curves & Rounded Columns: Part of the core design language, sweeping curves guide natural movement throughout the floorplate, creating seamless spatial transitions and promoting a unified sense of connection.
Simple & Minimal Design Philosophy: Restrained detailing and softened edges bring visual clarity and ease of navigation, reducing cognitive strain while fostering focused productivity.
Materiality: Warm timber elements evoke familiarity and comfort, paired with fluted glass to subtly diffuse light—striking the ideal balance between privacy and openness.
Biophilic Greenery: Thoughtfully integrated as natural pause points within the daily work routine, lush greenery instills a sense of well-being, re-energizes employees, and elevates the overall space experience.
Behind every finished detail lies close collaboration between the SPVB project team, consulting partners, contractors, and dedicated individuals who brought this vision to life. This shared commitment produced a workplace that authentically reflects SPVB’s ambition for a modern, flexible, and connected environment.
