Fin Offices – Dublin
Emily Cunnane at Artful Interiors designed offices for Fin in Dublin, transforming the company’s St Stephen’s Green workplace into a warm, brand-led environment with custom joinery, curated artworks, and a concealed day-to-night bar.
Lisbon and Dublin-based designer Emily Cunnane has transformed Irish tech unicorn Fin’s Dublin office from a generic corporate shell into a brand-led, creative environment. A landmark Dublin headquarters where materiality, art, colour, and craft shape a new way of working.
Overlooking leafy St Stephen’s Green, the brief for this 3,480 sqm headquarters for Fin was to echo the ethos of the company by embracing futuristic materials, while creating a warm and characterful space at one of the city’s most coveted addresses.
Our team was commissioned to transform all three levels of this new Irish HQ, reconfiguring all three full floor plates, and anchoring each level with distinct social and collaborative zones. On the lower floors, open workspaces, training areas, meeting rooms and a podcast studio are united by the common use of low-level layered lighting, custom tiling, commissioned joinery, and sweeping drapery. We also introduced stainless steel as a unifying material, giving the space a sharp edge, which is balanced by the comfort and texture of soft underfoot and wall finishes.
The top floor of the building acts as a social hub and canteen space with materials like glass bricks chosen to define areas whilst letting light through. The highlight of this social space is a concealed day-to-night bar that shifts seamlessly from daytime coffee hub, to vibrant evening lounge, thanks in no small part to 3-metre-high tambour doors. Designed by our studio and made in collaboration with Bear Creation.
Turning such a large floorplate into a series of warm, atmospheric rooms was a real test. We leaned into domestic softness, materials that invite touch, and art that sparks conversation. Overall, seventy curated artworks now bring unique character and energy to every floor, and corner, of this forward-focused, ambitious company.
