  • Studio BR Arquitetura designed Monday’s new office in São Paulo, a 648.95 m² corporate interior project developed at Riverview Corporate. The space was designed for 72 workstations, with capacity to expand to 100, and marks the company’s transition from a coworking model to its own headquarters, with a distinctive character aligned with the brand’s identity.

The client’s brief called for an office with a “home-like feel”, while remaining dynamic enough to support a routine in which different teams are constantly in contact. The solution was to minimize conventional corporate furniture and prioritize residential-style pieces, such as sofas and armchairs, creating gathering areas throughout the office and new possibilities for interactions beyond the workstations.

The design was guided by two main elements: color and Brazilian identity. Each meeting room features an exclusive wallpaper, with combinations of two to three colors drawn from Monday’s visual identity and interpreted in different ways. Green occupies a central wall in the office, while yellow and pink appear in the phone booths and are echoed in different saturations throughout the other spaces. Brazilian identity is expressed through the selection of locally sourced materials, furniture and artworks, as well as patterns inspired by Brazilian fauna and flora and artistic elements that incorporate distinctly Brazilian imagery.

Upholstery and carpet play a central role in this visual language, bringing textiles into different areas of the office.Wallpaper completes the material palette and is present in every meeting room, with distinct patterns and color palettes that give each space its own identity while maintaining the overall coherence of the project.

Among the elements developed specifically for the office’s dynamics are the so-called “listener sofas” in the meeting rooms. These seats allow additional people to follow and participate in discussions without taking up the seats around the table, adapting the rooms to different meeting formats. The same logic extends to the lounge and collaboration areas, reception and freestanding furniture positioned throughout the office for informal team meetings.

At the center of this dynamic is the work café, which functions as both a day-to-day cafeteria and a gathering space for the entire company. Equipped with a projector, sound system and reconfigurable furniture, the space can also host events and talks, taking on different configurations depending on the occasion.

Technology is integrated into the daily use of the spaces. All meeting rooms are equipped with videoconferencing systems, while TVs function as digital whiteboards, allowing participants to make notes during meetings. The infrastructure supports an operation with international teams in London, Singapore, Tel Aviv and New York. The office’s two balconies were also incorporated into the program as outdoor work areas and spaces for events and client reception, expanding their use beyond the internal routine.

Sustainability is also reflected in the specification choices. All plants are natural and distributed throughout different areas of the office, while furniture, decorative objects and artworks were selected exclusively from Brazilian suppliers and artists. The strategy supports local production and reduces reliance on international supply chains.
