
MetLife Offices – Dubai
Spacewell designed a workspace for MetLife in Dubai focusing on employee well-being, creativity, and sustainability, featuring vibrant colors and achieving LEED Platinum Certification for environmental impact.
MetLife approached us with a visionary goal: to create a workspace that not only reflects their commitment to health and wellness but also invigorates their employees to thrive in their professional environment. With a customer base of around 90 million spread across over 60 countries, MetLife’s mission to improve the lives of their clients extends to their own workforce, especially during the challenging times brought about by the pandemic.
Understanding the importance of employee wellbeing and mental health, we started working on designing and building a workspace that fosters creativity, collaboration, and overall well-being among MetLife’s employees. Our primary objective was to make the office a welcoming and inviting space, encouraging employees to come in and engage fully with their work and colleagues. The choice of colors, including MetLife’s brand colors infused with productivity-enhancing hues, adds vibrancy and energy to the space.
Moreover, our proudest achievement lies in the project’s sustainability credentials. The office space achieved LEED Platinum Certification, the highest rating within the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) framework. This recognition underscores MetLife’s commitment to integrating sustainable practices into their operations, aligning perfectly with their vision for a smarter, resilient, and more sustainable future.
