Turner Construction Offices – New York City
Fogarty Finger has developed the new office design of Turner Construction located in New York City.
Through close collaboration with the Turner Construction Company, Fogarty Finger provided a design for their International Headquarters that is grounded in tradition, yet fresh, forward-looking, and technological in nature.
The design references the construction company’s legacy by employing architectural materials scaled to suit the interior. A channel glass wall, for example, flanks the reception area and provides a welcoming, luminous backdrop for the entrance. Light and reflective materials are used throughout the circulation zones to invite continuity of movement. Furthermore, a rich palette of materials, walnut, black lacquer, and gray fabric, enhances the interior and provides a needed warmth and variety for the office’s full floor plate.
