Dexus Place Offices – Sydney
Girvan Waugh has designed the new offices of workplace-for-rent company Dexus Place, located in Sydney, Australia.
Dexus Place Sydney was Girvan Waugh’s first – of many – custom designed and built spaces for Dexus to suit a particular shortfall in the market for flexible meeting rooms and facilities to tenants.
The space features an observation room for market research and a fully functional immersive Polycom studio for interstate and international video conference calls.
Dexus Place significantly reduces travel time, particularly for large companies spread out across Australia. The co-working space allows access to all the facilities in any of the states while the Polycom video conference studio brings everyone together into one room.
Girvan Waugh’s design team took inspiration from raw materials such as concrete, glass and wood to style a learned experience that compliments the contemporary chic surrounding of the Sydney Central Business District.
Styled with an extensive array of furniture from Haworth and a completely bespoke reception desk from Cassina. Dexus Place Sydney gives the feeling of stepping into a library or business lounge as opposed to a ‘meeting room’.
