Conifer Financial Services Offices – Jersey City
TPG Architecture designed the offices of asset management company Conifer Financial Services, located in Jersey City, New Jersey.
Conifer Financial Services is an innovative asset management firm founded in 1997. Based in San Francisco with five locations around the world, the company’s New York area operations are primarily comprised of IT infrastructure and trading support for the company’s other offices.
Formerly located in 25,000 square feet of antiquated office space at 185 Third Avenue, the company’s relocation to Jersey City was an opportunity to provide a new workplace as a benefit for their employees. The company’s culture is rooted in an entrepreneurial spirit, and ample communal and meeting space was required. Conifer’s new office at 111 Town Square Place is efficiently planned, accommodating all 55 employees within roughly half the footprint, while still offering generous collaborative space to complement their way of working.
Open workstations are situated along the windows and private offices are glass-fronted, lending an open, bright, and modern feel to the space. Hosting regular office wide gatherings is deeply-rooted in the company’s culture, and the design provides a large, flexible conference room that can open into the reception area, creating a large town hall space for events and meetings.
