WeWork, the platform for creators that provides beautiful workspaces, an inspiring community, and meaningful business services to tens of thousands of members around the world, is pleased to announce the opening of its latest London location, WeWork Tower Bridge.

Featuring a mix of inspired local designs and functional elements, WeWork Tower Bridge provides members with a creative and focused environment that fosters ample opportunities to meet, collaborate, and delight.

Boasting incredible panoramas of Tower Hill and Tower Bridge on its western side and St Katherine’s docks on its eastern, WeWork Tower Bridge features a breathtaking view of almost every major monument in London. The spectacular vista from the 6th floor penthouse, which features floor-to-ceiling glazing and access to a terrace overlooking the entire city, complements the modern and clean-lined design of WeWork Tower Bridge.

Taking cues from the exposed and raw finishes of local warehouses within the region, the WeWork design team incorporated various tones of pinks, blacks and burgundy set against neutral tones and natural materials, such as leather and wood, to create spaces that shift from dark and warm to light and airy.

A distinctive focal point of WeWork Tower Bridge is the communal staircase that connects the 5th and 6th floors from the main lounge. Along the 5th floor, members encounter a wooden-fin tunnel adorned with gold mirrors that leads to the core staircase. The striking presence of these vertical fins provides members with a visual cue of re-orientation, drawing one towards more open spaces where member collaboration and interaction thrives.

As one journeys upstairs to the 6th floor, the fins vary in height and decrease in frequency, allowing light to filter the transparent plexi panels and penetrate the staircase. The panels, treated with a warm-to-cool gradient, are strategically located above the staircase filling the negative space while providing a sculptural element that enlivens the minimal space.

The custom artwork and murals within WeWork Tower Bridge were created by WeWork’s in-house art and graphics team, who incorporated the sketches and markings on the exposed concrete walls left by the contractors and architects during the building phase.

A playful homage to the history of building’s design process — and the neighborhood’s warehouses — the murals were brushed with a crude mixture of paint and wheat-pasted prints, providing the murals with a sense of depth and rawness.
