Origen Financial Services Offices – Farnborough
Rhino Interiors Group sought out a COVID-safe solution for the offices of Origen Financial Services for their location in Farnborough, England.
Origen were looking for a new workspace that promoted covid-safe working as well as encouraging safe collaboration within teams as they slowly returned to the space.
Rhino Interiors were asked to deliver a 10,000ft space for Origen following lease expiry on their old workspace. Their new space needed to reflect the Origen brand and create a luxurious, understated space with muted colours and practicality at the forefront.
Their covid-safe workplace needed to encourage safe collaboration within teams, without making staff feel unsafe or uncomfortable. Sustainability and environmental best-practice was also factored into the fitout, with Origen re-using as much of their existing furniture as viably possible. The design therefore needed to seamlessly blend the old with the new, creating a cohesive and coordinated scheme. Feature lighting, bespoke joinery and partitioning are just some of the features that the Rhino team brought to this new Origen space.
The layout and design created a safe, clean and collaborative space that could adapt and change to employees’ hybrid needs. Origen’s workspace centres around efficient movement of people to minimise pinch points and bottlenecks, with spacious meeting areas enabling colleagues to safely meet or work collaboratively at a distance. Finishes such as brushed gold, polished wood and textured matt black accents were incorporated into the design along with a muted and tonal colour palette – creating a striking and luxurious space that re-energised Origen’s brand and corporate identity.
