Aura designed the Harper Grey offices as a welcoming space for clients and their team in Vancouver, Canada.
Harper Grey LLP, a leading law firm based in Vancouver, British Columbia, embarked on a transformative journey with Aura to design and build its newly acquired floor in The Scotia Tower. This expansion aimed to create a new design standard for the entire office, marking the beginning of the revitalization of Harper Grey’s office space.
The project involved creating dedicated functional spaces catering to the client’s specific needs. These spaces included a large kitchen, a smaller catering kitchen, a staff lounge, a tech-savvy meeting room, and private offices. The design of these areas emphasized functionality and efficiency, ensuring they were seamlessly integrated into the firm’s daily operations.
Aura skillfully addressed the client’s aspiration for a more collaborative and celebratory office environment by introducing a dedicated staff lounge. The newly integrated staff lounge and kitchen serve as versatile hubs, fulfilling multiple purposes within the office space. These areas act not only as break rooms but also as flexible meeting spaces and event venues. The design effortlessly accommodates various seating arrangements and configurations with flexible furniture. A key feature is the customized kitchen, meeting Harper Grey’s specific needs, alongside a smaller catering kitchen for seamless food preparation during events. The integration of a smaller catering kitchen enhances functionality, making it an essential element in the workspace without compromising the overall design aesthetics.
The project also features the relocated library. The design team took great care in making the library more accessible and refreshing its look. The library’s design incorporates elements that promote functionality and aesthetics, seamlessly integrating with the new design narrative. The library now stands as a beacon of exploration, research, and inspiration.
Another unique feature is the state-of-the-art meeting room for internal and external staff meetings. The room includes cutting-edge technology and video-conferencing capabilities, empowering the firm to boost efficiency and productivity within a visually stunning contemporary setting.
This expansion project represents a significant milestone in the firm’s journey to revitalize its office space.
