Kuehne+Nagel Offices – Seoul
Geyer Environments designed a warm office for Kuehne+Nagel with space for focused team work in Seoul, South Korea.
After residing in their previous space for 15 years, the company desired a modern workplace that can adapt to progressive staff needs, and be a post-Covid response that promotes health and wellbeing.
From sustainable materials, lighting types, and live plant selections, to providing shower, unisex restrooms, ample shoe closets, and providing diverse spaces to work, meet, and socialize with colleagues – the employee experience of wellbeing became the core design driver of the project.
Although the catalyst for the project was centered around business growth and the need for more space – this became an opportunity to improve the employee experience around wellbeing, making this a desirable destination for work.
From the company’s vision and goals for their staff, key design drivers were established around MOVEMENT, CONNECTING PEOPLE, TRANQUILITY, and a LOCAL FLAIR to resonate in the design.
The aesthetic combines a soft expression that promotes both movement and calmness.
