  • Cezeri Artificial Intelligence Robotics Technologies Office, within Cezeri Baykar, a leading Turkish defence company, is a reminder of the rich historical legacy of innovation dating back to the 11th century.

At the heart of this legacy is Al-Jazari, a pioneering scientist whose groundbreaking inventions paved the way for today’s technological developments.

Al-Jazari, also known as Al Cezeri, was a polymath of the Islamic Golden Age in the 11th century. His contributions to the fields of mechanics, engineering and automated design have had a fundamental impact on the development of today’s technology. His ingenious inventions, documented in his landmark work “The Book of Knowledge of Ingenious Mechanical Devices”, laid the foundation for the development of robotics and automation.

Inspired by Al-Jazari’s imagination, Cezeri Baykar’s office space as a tribute to the journey from the visionary inventions of the 11th century scientist to the cutting-edge robot designs of today.

The Cezeri Flying Car, a pioneering project in urban air transport, represents a revolutionary step towards transforming logistical support in the healthcare and military sectors.

The design philosophy behind the Cezeri office is rooted in the concept of “designing the future inspired by the past”. The space aims to encapsulate the historical significance of Al-Jazari’s contributions, while fostering an environment that is more than just a conventional technology office. The office embraces a pastel, human and warm aesthetic that appeals to all generations, rather than a stark futuristic ambience.

The proposed museum/office space immerses visitors and employees in an environment where Al-Jazari’s inventions are prominently displayed on various surfaces. The overall aim is to create a harmonious blend of historical reverence and contemporary functionality. Our aim was to respond to the diverse needs and preferences of Cezeri’s employees by designing an office space that adapts to different working arrangements.

At the heart of the design is the idea of bringing people together, encouraging collaboration and inspiring creativity. The office space has been carefully crafted to prioritise user experience and well-being, and to promote connectivity between employees. In a world where distractions are everywhere, we wanted to create a premium workplace concept with a humanistic approach.

Warm materials and colour blocks are used to enhance comfort and inspiration. The Cezeri Artificial Intelligence Robotics Technologies Office is not only a hub for cutting-edge technological advancements, but also a tribute to the enduring legacy of Al-Jazari, whose innovations continue to shape the development of scientific progress for centuries.
