Firm
  • Client Unnamed Company,
  • size 24,700 sqft
  • Year 2023
  • Location Schaumburg, Illinois, United States,
  • To accommodate a flexible hybrid work policy, our client shed multiple floors and relocated their regional headquarters to a single floor in Schaumburg, IL. With a scaled down footprint of 24,700 RSF, this new office provides both private spaces and social hubs throughout, making a great space where employees to want to come to work.

Our client’s integration of bold, unexpected colors makes a statement as soon as visitors enter. Both the reception and work café of their new HQ were designed to serve as a destination. For design inspiration, Whitney did a deep dive into the client’s branding in order to incorporate ideas that are important to their organization and company culture. Design details and office function reflect empowerment, optimism, and energy. The use of square elements with curved corners throughout provides a nod to their logo.

Flexibility and choice were two more driving factors in the design of our client’s new space. Their office consists of workstations, casual gathering spaces, and a small number of private offices that allow employees to choose where they work. To account for future flexibility, huddle rooms are equipped for interchangeable furniture and workstations are transformable to suit our client’s future potential needs.
