At our initial design consultation, we noted one of the charismatic leaders sporting Air Jordans under his well-tailored suit. The sneakers featured a black and white organic motif that served as the perfect inspiration for blending sophistication with a casually-confidant touch of sporty fun. Occupying the top three floors of Tabor Center building in Denver, Colorado, the client asked that we solve for connectivity among floors. Extending the planned stair to another level introduced technical challenges and atrium code considerations.

Our design team responded with a mix of retro, modern, and some serious fun. Strong use of natural walnut and real stone provides a classic appeal while curved-glass technologies by DIRTT showcased modern manufacturing capabilities. Moody lighting, smoked glass, and circulation paths clad in porcelain that click under-foot make for a seriously professional experience. Moments of joy are discovered in the blue-suede ceiling, embossed ‘Velveteen Tetra’ wallcovering by Arte, swaged canopies featuring Knoll’s Emerson sheer drapery, and of course, that Air Jordan inspired porcelain floor tile by Stone Source.

This office space is now fully occupied and employees have come back to the office in droves! So much so that they are now seeking ways to accommodate increased demand at the Denver office – a sign of success and tribute to the team’s hard work and dedication.
