Firm
  • Client Unnamed Company,
  • size 12,927 sqft
  • Year 2022
  • Location Nashville, Tennessee, United States,
  • This project focused on the transformation and transition from working in a multi-floor house to a modern office space on Music Row in Nashville, TN. Our objective was to craft a space that would resonate with the company’s established identity while fostering a new era of growth and evolution.

The design concept centers on an idea of layering – spaces that gradually reveal themselves, inviting exploration and engagement. The arrival area, uniquely nestled within the heart of an L-shaped layout, immediately connects with surrounding spaces, offering an immersive experience that is both gracious and understated. Views, vistas and natural light become destinations with each turn, suggesting an expansive space, intimately connected to the city.

Key anchors, such as the pantry, conference rooms and collaborative areas, are strategically placed to foster connectivity and create a seamless flow throughout the space. As you enter and move through the space, natural light guides the journey. As you pivot, the space unfolds before you.

Encounters are brief and memorable. Glass partitions, millwork screens and lighting create transparent spaces that provide glimpses of areas that lie beyond. This draws you further into the environment, achieving longevity without being overstated.

Special moments are created through subtle details that are more about textures than contrast. Rich wood tones, neutral textiles and bold art work all work together to create a special relationship between people and place – setting a familiar tone while ushering in a new era.
