Multinational Tech Company Offices – Bangkok
Orbit Design Studio crafted a Thai-inspired, sustainable corporate office in Bangkok’s One Bangkok Tower, combining local arts, green materials, and inclusive design elements for a harmonious work environment.
Thai craftsmanship is celebrated at the heart of the design for this new global technology corporate office in One Bangkok Tower, creating a welcoming environment for employees and clients to socialise and work with 360-degree views of Bangkok. Commissioned local arts and crafts are seen in every corner of the office with the warm (Red) core as a backdrop juxtaposed with the light and bright open office designed to encourage colleagues to come into the office.
Inclusivity, accessibility, and sustainability were equally important. The office reuses and repairs as much furniture as possible while new building materials are green-labeled and sourced locally wherever possible. The accessibility design takes neurodiversity into consideration, creating a mix of both stimulating spaces and calming spaces for mindfulness and meditation.
Key design interventions include: a photo op wall celebrating the company’s logo paired with backlit Thai motifs; a 30m long custom mural designed by Orbit titled “Digital Harmony: Cycle of Transformation” which captures the journey of digital evolution as an endless cycle, blending technology, nature, and cultural heritage; and the integration of patterns derived from traditional Thai crafts of the 4 regions.
