L’Oreal Egypt Offices – Cairo
Echelle Architects’ design for L’Oreal offices in Cairo seamlessly blends artistry and functionality, creating a vibrant, LEED Platinum workspace that embodies the company’s philosophy of beauty while inspiring creativity and collaboration.
The project received the BIG -5 award for Commercial Project of the Year. Inspired by L’Oréal’s motto, “Create the beauty that moves the world,” we designed an office space that reflects this captivating slogan. Our goal was to create an environment that not only delights the eye but also inspires both employees and visitors.
We aimed to transcend mere aesthetics by catering to diverse business needs, incorporating a mix of formal and informal areas, along with flexible and agile spaces. The office design at bureau58 in New Cairo highlights the company’s commitment to diversity and showcases its extensive product range through various displays.
Additionally, we included a versatile outdoor terrace that offers a panoramic view of the lively promenade, inspiring onlookers from afar. The office is designed as an open showroom for L’Oréal products, with the main display being the first thing visitors and employees encounter upon entering. Smaller displays differentiate departments, replacing conventional separators. The cafeteria features a color scheme inspired by current makeup trends, complemented by a striking graffiti wall showcasing different brands.
This project is set to be Egypt’s first LEED Platinum certified initiative in interior design and construction.
