AP+I Design’s The Collective Showroom in San Jose reimagines workplace culture through an inspiring blend of hospitality, functionality, and design, fostering collaboration and creativity in a vibrant environment.
In the heart of Santana Row, The Collective’s new showroom redefines the workplace as an inspiring, flexible hub that reflects their people-first culture and bold brand. Blending hospitality, functionality, and design-forward thinking, it supports everything from deep focus to dynamic collaboration.
A central break room draws visitors in with moody finishes and a warm, social vibe. The 40-foot custom bookshelf—crafted from rhythmic cherry wood slats—embodies the team’s ethos: “We are overlapping and stronger together,” serving as both a striking design feature and a display for curated materials.
The space is optimized by Teknion demountable walls – their primary product line – an easily configurable and customizable glazing system that shapes the space. Furniture throughout is sourced from a variety of manufacturers, creating a curated mix of styles and finishes that reflect the diversity of their offerings.
Each setting tells a story—some calm and contemplative, others open and energized. Glazed rooms, flexible furnishings, and layered vignettes showcase products in action and invite clients to imagine what’s possible. The showroom is more than a workspace—it’s a living reflection of their values and craft.
