Clarksons Offices – Athens
A&M Architects’ Clarksons offices in Athens masterfully blend heritage and modernity, creating a dynamic, adaptable workspace that fosters collaboration and reflects the essence of global shipping through innovative design elements.
A&M Architects has completed the new offices of Clarksons in Athens, designing a 1,000 square-metre workplace that reflects the global shipping services company’s heritage while embracing contemporary ways of working.
Located on Kifisias Avenue in Chalandri, the project transforms a standard office floor into a flexible, open-plan environment. Transparency and adaptability define the layout: foldable glass partitions allow meeting rooms and breakout spaces to expand into a larger recreation zone, creating a versatile setting for everyday collaboration as well as corporate events.
At the heart of the design is the reception area, conceived as a bold brand statement. Here, the company’s corporate colours are paired with ship like geometries and graphic interventions that nod to Clarksons’ international presence. Across the workplace, an expressive palette combines raw ceilings in sea inspired tones with vibrant colour accents and tactile finishes, fostering both productivity and a sense of identity.
The resulting office balances functionality with atmosphere, offering a contemporary workspace that echoes Clarksons’ role in global trade while cultivating a lively and engaging setting for its Athens team.
