Studio BV’s design for the Confidential Financial Services Company Offices in Minnetonka merges corporate sophistication with local identity, fostering collaboration and transparency in a cohesive and modern workplace environment.
Studio BV partnered with a Confidential Financial Services company to design its new consolidated Minneapolis office. The project brought together teams previously located in Minneapolis, Wayzata, and Minnetonka into a unified, thoughtfully designed workplace that reflects both corporate sophistication and local identity.
The primary goal was to create a cohesive environment that fosters collaboration, reinforces company culture, and signals a forward-looking presence in the market. The design strikes a careful balance between the established corporate brand and a distinct Minnesotan sensibility.
The resulting workplace is modern, cool, and bright, anchored in a clean, intentional material palette that prioritizes transparency and visual flow. Finishes were purposefully kept simple and refined, allowing architectural elements and natural light to take center stage while maintaining clarity and openness throughout the office.
The reception area establishes a warm and welcoming first impression. A wood ceiling feature creates an immediate sense of place, guiding the eye through the space toward the exterior views framed by the Executive Conference Room beyond.
The overall experience is open, intentional, and confident.
At the heart of the office, the café functions as both a social hub and a flexible meeting environment. The space balances color and warmth with sophisticated detailing, creating an atmosphere that feels both energetic and refined.
Layered seating styles, from casual lounge to communal tables, provide flexibility and adaptability for everyday collaboration as well as full-team gatherings. The design supports connection while reinforcing the firm’s commitment to culture and community.
By consolidating three offices into one cohesive environment, Studio BV created a space that supports transparency, teamwork, and growth. The restrained palette, refined detailing, and thoughtful spatial planning elevate the everyday workplace experience while maintaining visual clarity and flow.
