HowdenCAP Offices – London
Savills designed the HowdenCAP Offices in London to create a modern, flexible workspace that harmonizes sustainable practices with brand identity, fostering collaboration and a welcoming atmosphere for hybrid work.
Savills Workplace & Design, in collaboration with the Savills London Office Project Management Team and M&E Consultancy, successfully delivered the relocation and Cat B fit-out for HowdenCAP at 1 Creechurch Place, London.
Spanning 23,842 sq ft across two floors, the project focused on achieving the right balance between establishing a distinct identity within a corporate headquarters, embedding sustainability, and meeting the demands of an accelerated programme. The result is a modern, flexible, and open workspace designed to support hybrid working, complemented by a welcoming, multi-functional reception area that sets the tone for collaboration and creates a strong first impression.
A key aspect of the project was the reuse of the existing Cat B fit-out, enabling the team to optimise both programme and budget while reducing environmental impact. This approach was paired with high-quality, brand-aligned design that reflects Howden’s identity, enhanced through considered and sustainable material choices.
The workspace also incorporates a repurposed breakout zone designed to support relaxation, informal meetings, and team connection, alongside a variety of collaborative settings that enable effective teamwork across all functions.
Delivered successfully within a compressed timeframe, the project demonstrates Savills’ ability to create high-performing, future-ready workplaces that balance design quality, sustainability, and efficiency. Ultimately enhancing both employee experience and organisational performance.
