Dropbox Offices – Sydney
Gensler has designed the new offices of file sharing company Dropbox, located in Sydney, Australia.
With a strategy based on the overarching concept of “workplace as home,” Gensler partnered with Dropbox to design and implement the interiors for their new Sydney office. The relocation from a temporary space to 5 Martin Place in the CBD gave Dropbox the exciting opportunity to engage employees and customers in a whole new way.
The vision was to create not just an office to work in every day, not just a ‘house’ for staff, but a place for shared experience, for making memories and for storytelling, a true home for the Dropbox family. Much like a home that is designed to the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship and loved and cared for by its family, Dropbox Sydney was designed to a standard that Dropboxers will take pride in.
The careful planning and clean sightlines together with the thoughtful mix of furniture and finishes, abundance of greenery and overall sense of openness and transparency make the space a very natural, comfortable environment for varying perspectives and workstyles to live together under one roof.
